Matt hears. Matt hears everything, from the pulse to the scent of sweat and his own blood still on Tim. He senses everything. He loves everything about Tim. All of it.

He's going back out there tonight. Even though an arm loops around him, gentle and perfect. Even though Tim loves him and will probably stop.

For now, though. He's content. Just for now, to be in this moment, though he'd love a cup of warm tea. That's a minor thing. He has Tim.

"You known what I noticed firsr?" He asks suddenly. "What really got me? Your voice."
