Matt smiles, too, even though he can't see Tim is. He's assuming, from the sound of his voice. Because Tim is actually very expressive. He doesn't know it, he thinks--but Tim's voice isn't actually as deadpan as he thinks. There's very subtle nuances, extremely fine syntax. It's nice. No, it's more than nice. It's perfect.

"Maybe I'll stop by," He says carefully. Testing the waters, testing Tim's reaction. Wondering if it's too far. It probably is, Matt thinks. He's already getting too attached just because he likes Tim's voice and what he does; he's too clingy because he knows it's probably going to go up in flames after the first month if that.

And yet all he wants to do is see Tim.
